DAC 9-11 PLAYERS HEAD TO FLORIDA

The NFL is sending the 9-11 New York Panthers to Florida to
represent the Greater New York region at the NFL Youth Flag Football
Tournament of Champions in Orlando next month. After competing against
teams from Long Island, Staten Island and New Jersey, the boys won the
NFL NY Jets Regional Tournament at Mitchel Athletic Field in Uniondale,
New York on Oct. 5.

The group of local boys live in the Queens-Long Island area and all
play on various teams in the DAC organization. They have been
practicing for almost a year for this Regional tournament and are very
proud they have succeeded. They shut out every team they played against
in the Regionals. The boys will compete at the Disney Wide World of
Sports Complex on Nov. 22nd for the national title.
