DAC offers one of the largest recreational basketball programs in Queens. Over 550 children participate in age groups 5-18. We offered both in-house and travel programs. Our travel teams last year played in the Super 30 league at the Island Garden in West Hemstead. Travel teams for grade 4-8. Our separate girls program is going into its third year with over 65 girls playing last year. Ages were 8-14 Season for all leagues begins in November and ends in March. Local school gyms used for all games and practices.

For children ages 5-15. Over 200 children in our in-house program. Outside teams from OLBS,St Roberts and Reiff Park. Pitching machines used for ages 7-8. Girls softball with Mid-Queens Fresh Meadows. Games are played at local Bayside and Whitestone fields. Summer travel teams play in the 7-8 and 9-10 age divisions |

DAC has teamed up with the NFL to be part of a national youth Flag Football League program. Nationwide over 100,000 kids participate in the NFL Flag program.For children ages 6-17. Season runs from September through the end of November. This year our 10-11 travel team won the regional NFL Flag Tournament at Hofstra and the National Championships at Disney World in Orlando Florida. In 2006 they traveled to Germany for the World Championships.
